The upcoming SHOOTO KINGS VI: Ichigeki! is another high level action packed Martial Arts event in the Öschhalle in Metzingen, next Saturday, June 10th 2017. During the daytime the event will feature the 17.th European Amateur Shooto Championships, as well as the notorious European Shidokan Open Championships in Full Contact Karate, Kickboxing and Kata.

The specators and media will witness a total over 80 fights on that day with competitors from age 7 to 50! A total of 13 countries from the continents of America, Asia and Europe will attend this spectacle, showcasing some fine talents from DEEP, Shooto and of course Shidokan. So this event will be a stunning experience for all those who attend.

Living Martial Arts Legend and Grandmaster of the Shidokan Karate, Soeno Yoshiji Kancho, will be in Germany for this awesome event, as well as Yoshimura Eddie Shihan (Shidokan USA).

To make everything smoother and easier for everybody here is some important information for all spectators and competitors:

Weight Ins

All weight ins for professional and amateur fighters will be held in the Mensa of the Öschhalle, Öschweg 2, 72555 Metzingen (Germany). Weight Ins for professional fighters will be held on Friday, June 9th, at 19:30 h and will be streamed live on the Facebook Page of SHOOTO KINGS.

The weight ins for all other fighters can be done on Friday, June 9th, 20:00-22:00 h or on Saturday, June 10th, 08:00-09:30 h. All fighters of the European Amateur Shooto Championships and the European Shidokan Open have to be at the registration desk in the Mensa first and show a valid ID as well as a receipt of payment. Only fighters and coaches are allowed to enter the venue for the weight ins. Fighters, who fail to be on time for the weight in or to make the weight will be disqualified from the competition.

All fighters and coaches of the 17.th European Amateur Shooto Championships and the European Shidokan Open will receive FREE ENTRY for the nightshow!

Schedule for Saturday, June 10th 2017

The Öschhalle will be open at 08:00 h for coaches and competitors only. Weight in starts immediately. Weight in ends at 09:30 h.
All brackets for Shooto and Shidokan will be available in the venue at the Warm-Up Area. Every fight during the daytime has a number and we go through all fights in the order of numbers.

Competition will start at 10:00 h with the Kids and Youth divisions in Shidokan Knockdown Karate.
Adults Knockdown Karate and Glove Karate will start at 11.30 h in the ring.
All Shooto Preliminaries start at 13:00 h in the ring.
All Kata divisions will start at 16:00 h in the ring.

All preliminary events end on 16:30 h, followed by all award ceremonies for Kids, Youth and Kata.

Medical Check for Professional Fighters

All professional fighters of the nightshow must be at the venue at 17:00 h for the obligatory medical check by our ring doctor.
